What stays on your PC

OnlyCash is a Windows program. Your cards, records and history live in a file on your PC, and orders go from there to your platform. Here is what stays, what leaves, and where it goes.

From click to confirmation

From click to confirmation A timeline of an order OnlyCash sends from an automatic card: you click, it is saved on your PC, sent to your platform, and filled only when your platform shows it. If an opening order is not confirmed, the card says it does not know and never sends it again. This is the route of the orders OnlyCash sends, from automatic cards. 1. You click
  2. Saved on your PC first — before anything is sent
  3. Sent to your platform
  4. Your platform shows what happened
  5. Filled only when the platform shows it

No confirmation for an opening order → The card says ‘We don’t know’: it never sends that order again, and asks you to look at your platform.

Orders never pass through our servers

Orders go from OnlyCash to your platform through a private channel on your PC. No order is sent to our servers.

Saved on your PC before it is sent

Before OnlyCash sends an order, it saves it on your PC. If the app or the PC stops halfway, the record is still there.

A fill is what your platform shows

A trade shows as filled only when your platform shows it. A ‘received’ reply is not a fill.

An unconfirmed opening order is never sent again

If OnlyCash can’t confirm what happened to an opening order, the card says ‘We don’t know’. It never sends that order again, and asks you to look at your platform.

What our servers see

Our servers see your OnlyCash account (email and the name you chose), your subscription, how many cards are open, the app version and edition, update checks, and a wallet’s public address only if you add one. Payment is handled by Stripe.

Your platform password stays yours

OnlyCash never asks for your trading-platform password. You type it into your platform yourself; OnlyCash never reads it, stores it or sends it anywhere.

OnlyCash never holds your money

OnlyCash never holds or moves your money. Payouts are records you keep; you request them from your prop firm. Wallet balances are read only, with no keys.

Where your records live

Your cards, cash records, payouts and history are kept in a file on your PC, in your Windows user’s folder. The account identities in it are encrypted for your Windows user.

Updates are signed

Updates are signed: the app installs one only if its signature matches ours.

Each account belongs to one card

Each prop account belongs to one card, and stays with it even after you archive the card. On automatic cards you set stop and target before the trade.
